Republican Steering Committee Announces Recommendations for House Financial Services Committee

WASHINGTON – Today, the Republican Steering Committee recommended the following members to join the House Financial Services Committee:
Anthony Gonzalez (OH-16)
John Rose (TN-6)
Bryan Steil (WI-1)
Lance Gooden (TX-5)
Denver Riggleman (VA-5)
Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10), Republican leader of the House Financial Services Committee, released the following statement on the committee’s recommendations:
“The new members recommended to serve on the Financial Services Committee will provide critical input and expertise from their diverse backgrounds in everything from small business to farming. I look forward to working alongside these members, and the Republican Conference as a whole, to build on the gains we’ve already achieved for hardworking taxpayers. I’m glad to see this important step taken so we can get to work for the American people in the 116th Congress.”
The Conference is expected to consider the recommendations next week.
